TM4 launches “Inside TM4” video series
(Boucherville, QC) – TM4 presents “Inside TM4”, a series of videos covering various themes and offering its audience an inside look at the company. Viewers can expect to learn about product validation, testing, manufacturing, services and more.
The first clip of the series covers TM4’s testing facilities, an extended 400 m2 area dedicated to the full validation and certification of its electric motors, generators and power electronics. State of the art equipment is available to assist, test and validate any type of electric motor. Here is an overview of the equipment:
- 7 temperature controlled test cells with overhead cranes and separated control rooms
- 9 dynamometer testing lines with 4-quadrant operation (60-670kW / 0-18,000 RPM)
- 1 shielded room for pre-compliance EMI/EMC
- 1 shock table
- 10 test benches
- 2 environmental chambers ( -70˚C to 180˚C, humidity controlled)
- 1 electrical load bank (RL 80 – 150kW)
- 1 vibration table
