About TM4
TM4 supplies electric motors, generators and inverters for the transportation and power generation markets. Products include customized electric drivetrains for electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle manufacturers, and generators for wind turbine and gen-set manufacturers. TM4's unique permanent magnet electric motors, coupled with its power-dense electronic converters and generators, increase efficiency and performance while lowering overall operating costs. Spun off by Hydro-Quebec in 1998, TM4 pioneered the electric propulsion system technology developed by Hydro-Quebec's renowned research center (IREQ). Today TM4 provides its customers with distinctive expertise to leverage its permanent magnet, power electronics and control technology to enhance the performance of automotive applications and electrical power production applications.
About RER
RER's Montreal, Canada, office is staffed by a world-class research and development team, and equipped with today's most advanced design tools. Generating electricity from renewable sources with minimal environmental impact is our aim. Since 2008, we have been developing the state of the art TREK technologies. By harnessing free-flowing rivers throughout the world, the TREK turbine aids in land conservation, as it requires no damming or flooding of land to produce alternative power. RER leverages the four decades of river hydropower engineering expertise of our former parent company. It also builds upon the successful hydropower, river engineering and energy transmission and distribution including substations, switchgears and switchyards.
